Kiefer Sutherland has revealed the secrets behind his unforgettable portrayal of Ace Merrill, the menacing bully in the classic coming-of-age film Stand by Me.

"I had a few encounters with bullies growing up," Sutherland said. "I wanted to capture that kind of raw, primal aggression that they exuded." The actor also delved into the psychological motivations behind Ace's violent behavior.
